This notice covers the Sheffield Hallam Islamic Society (“Hallam ISOC”, “we”, “us”) website.

The site does not set cookies. It has no advertising, analytics, social-media, or session-replay tools, and no pixel tags or tracking scripts.

It does use one item of browser session storage, named hallam-intro-seen. It remembers that you have already seen the homepage intro animation so it does not replay every time you return to the page. It stays on your device only, is never sent to us, and is deleted when you close the tab or browser.

The site links to services such as Sheffield Hallam Students' Union, Google Forms, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and X. These may set their own cookies once you leave this site. We do not control them, so please read their cookie and privacy notices.

Our hosting and content providers process technical request data, such as IP addresses, to deliver and secure the site. The Privacy notice explains how.

You can clear session storage and cookies, or block them, in your browser settings. Most browsers also let you see what is stored on your device. If you block session storage, the site still works; the intro animation may simply replay.
